The boxer from Baja California is en route to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
Mexicali, Baja California.- On the way to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Baja California boxer Citlali Ortiz has begun a tour of Europe with the National Team heading to the Olympic qualifier to be held in Italy.
Baja California’s sporting talent, Citlali Ortiz, and the national team have settled in Spain, where they will exchange lights at the Boxam 2024 Tournament in Alicante, between January 29 and February 4, being the first warm-up event for the Pre-Olympic Tournament.
And between February 29 and March 12, Italy will host the Pre-Olympic Boxing Tournament in Busto Arsizio for the first time, where 49 tickets will be distributed, 21 of them for women, to the next Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
After the commitment in Alicante, Spain, the Mexican team will continue its tour in several countries of the “Old Continent” and in America, before arriving at its meeting in Italian lands.
Citlali Ortiz, representative of San Felipe boxing, will wear the colors of Mexico in the 75 kilogram division, after winning the First Force National Selective, beating Génesis García, also from Baja California.
