Mexican Archers Take Home Top Honors at World Archery America Awards

Mexican sport continues to receive extraordinary news heading into the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, after the winners of the World Archery America were announced.

Organizations that awarded two awards to Mexican representatives for their quality and level in different competitions around the world in 2023.

They were Alejandra Valencia and Dafne Quintero, who won two awards in different categories.

World Archery America first awarded Alejandra Valencia, who was named the best archer of the year in the Women’s Recurve Bow category, after winning her third medal in the Pan American Games and second consecutive in the Central American and Caribbean Games.

The other Mexican who was crowned was Dafne Quintero, who in the Compound Bow category, which gave important medals to the country at the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023 and the Central American Games in San Salvador.
