BVB, News: Marco Reus speaks openly about fears about the end of his career

Borussia Dortmund’s offensive star Marco Reus has spoken openly about his feelings when thinking about the end of his active career.

“This moment of falling into a deep hole after my career. Emotional, but also not knowing 100 percent: What will happen next?” said Reus on the YouTube show Unspoken regarding his fears of quitting.

The 34-year-old’s contract with BVB expires next summer. It is currently still unclear whether he will stay in Dortmund or continue his career elsewhere.

In any case, Reus is already looking forward to the upcoming second half of the season: “I’m the most impatient person in the world. I always have to be on my toes. I’m really looking forward to training starting again on Monday.”

Reus has played 409 games for Dortmund so far. The 48-time German international scored 166 goals and 124 assists.
