Olbia. The gym has reopened for the 2024 sports and competitive season. Training for judo and self-defence lessons and courses resumed from 4 January, both for children/teenagers and adults, with various shifts every day from 6pm onwards, in the historic headquarters in via Perù 3 behind the Bruno Nespoli stadium.
Soon, as stated in the Kan Judo Olbia note: “There is a lot of enthusiasm on the part of Maestro Angelo Calvisi with 5th dan in view of the new sporting and competitive season which will see us engaged on various fronts with our pre-competitive athletes and athletes both at a regional, national and international level. We are already preparing intensely to face the first upcoming competitive commitments in the regional calendar of the national federation the “FIJLKAM” (the only official Olympic body). After the many successes obtained by the Olbia athletes in the past season with many important results see, Sardinian championships, regional grand prix, Italian championships, Italian trophies, and in the competitions held in away games in various regions across the Tyrrhenian Sea, Tuscany, Veneto, Liguria, Romagna and also on French soil in Corsica, where we achieved a decidedly important haul of important medals on all fronts, which always see the Olbia club in the high positions of the ranking regarding the activity among the most important regional judo associations”.
The note concludes: “This makes us enormously motivated to continue with so much confidence and so much desire to do, to be able to grow more and more and continue to give so much satisfaction to the entire Kan Judo Olbia environment and naturally to the sporting city of Olbia. The first competitive commitments are scheduled in less than a month with the regional “Cadet” class qualifiers in order to access the national finals. The athletes will be followed by Maestro Angelo Calvisi and his collaborators Gavino Carta cn 3rd dan, Fusaro Mario 2nd dan and Calvisi Federica 1st dan”.
