José Rondón’s great season was recognized this Sunday. The Leones del Caracas player won the LVBP 2023-24 Producer of the Year award.
For the second consecutive season, “La Locura” takes the award and joins Carlos “Cafe” Martínez, Luis Raven and Luis Jiménez as the players who have won the award in consecutive harvests.
The outfielder added a total of 259 points, leaving behind José “Cafecito” Martínez (229) and Leonardo Reginatto (219) on the list of finalists for Producer of the Year. Let us remember that this point format is given through a mathematical formula.
Likewise, Rondón finished with an average of .338 with 14 home runs (leader) and 42 RBIs in the regular round of the LVBP.
