Jerry Jones Leaves Door Open for Bill Belichick at Dallas Cowboys

Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has only been unemployed for a few weeks and already, rumors of a new adventure are flying everywhere.

Yet the coach was unable to get the job with the Atlanta Falcons and no other team currently looking for a head coach has interviewed him.

Then there are the Dallas Cowboys. And the owner, Jerry Jones.

The Cowboys had a superb 2023 campaign, but were defeated by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the playoffs.

There is one year left on head coach Mike McCarthy’s contract and Jones two weeks ago gave his support to his coach.

But on Tuesday, Jones added a new dimension to it all.

“I know him (Editor’s note: Bill Belichick) personally and I like him,” Jones said. There is no doubt that we could work together. None.”

Thus, Jones leaves the door open to a possible collaboration. But will she be as head coach?

Difficult to predict.
