Manchester City striker Jack Grealish suffered a robbery at his home in England this week while his team beat Everton 3-1 on matchday 19 of the Premier League. Days later, he decided to make a post to express his sadness after the difficult moment he had to go through regarding the closure of 2023.

According to The Sun newspaper, the criminals entered the house of colleague Julián Álvarez, and took jewelry and watches valued at more than one million euros.
At that moment, several of Grealish’s relatives, including his girlfriend, were there watching the game on television and, upon hearing strange noises, decided to activate a security alarm. From that moment on, an operation was deployed that included police, dogs and patrol cars, but the authorities reported that “they did not find any clues about the suspects.”

On his Instagram account, the English attacker posted a photo with his dog and expressed the sadness that this episode caused him: “I can’t begin to explain how devastated I am by the robbery that took place in my house a few days ago. “My family means the world to me and nothing is more important than ensuring their safety.”

“This has been a traumatic experience for all of us, I am very grateful that no one was hurt,” he added.
In that sense, he added: “I have had so many incredible experiences and achievements in the last 12 months, but to be honest the best year of my life in football right now doesn’t feel like something I can celebrate. “The people who commit these terrible crimes have no idea of the damage they cause to people’s lives.”
“I hope they are found and brought to justice so that no other family has to go through what we went through. I appreciate everyone’s messages and the support of my friends, colleagues and the club.
