Italian Couple Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri Win Gold at European Ice Figure Skating Championships

The Italian couple formed by Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri won the competition, and are therefore gold medalists, in the Dance competition of the European Ice Figure Skating Championships.

Guignard/Fabbri already occupied first place after ‘Rhythm Dance’, with a slim margin over the British Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson. But today, in the ‘Free Dance’, the blue duo, fifth at the Beijing ’22 Olympics, signed yet another performance of absolute excellence, receiving a rating of 127.58 in the competition segment.

Thus the overall score of 214.38 points was worth the gold medal, and confirmation of the title won in 2023 in Espoo. Guignard/Fabbri reach the podium of the continental event for the fourth time in their career. In fact, to today’s gold and last year’s gold, the two bronzes of 2019 in Minsk and 2022 in Tallinn must be added.
