HEESCH – A number of youth players from the Heesche Badminton Association rang in the new year on Saturday, January 6, at the BC Alouette youth tournament in Best. It was a golden start for the youth players of HBV.
At a strong tournament with more than 100 participants, the people of Heeschen fought their way to various final and podium places. In the category for the oldest youth players, Ellis Zwiers and Janita de Leijer defeated the opponents in the singles. As a result, the final and also the stage turned completely ‘Heesch blue’.
In the category for players under 15, Noa de Leijer and Messi already impressed Eido. Noa won the women’s singles and then also won a cup in the doubles together with partner Jasmijn Jeurissen. Messi al Eido finished second in the men’s singles after several exciting matches.
