Happy New Year 2024 on “Sport & Society”! – Sport & Society

As the year 2024 opens, with the backdrop of France hosting the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, “Sport & Society” sends you its best wishes and, as every year, thanks you warmly for your support and loyalty.

Pour “Sport & Society”2023 was a pivotal year, with nearly 400 new articles published and, above all, a record audience since 2016.

Thus, more than 306,000 visitors – France, United States, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Morocco, Italy in the lead – who consulted the numerous publications over the last twelve months, i.e. monthly average above 25,500.

In the month of December alone, more than 32,000 of you browsed the articles and analyzes relating of course to the preparations for Paris 2024, but also to the winter candidacies of the French Alps for the 2030 Games, of Salt Lake City. (Utah, United States) for 2034, or on the ambitions of cities and territories for the 2036 Summer Games.

In 2023, “Sport & Society” has also developed its presence on social networks with, in addition to confirmation on X (ex-Twitter) and on Facebooka more sustained presence on Instagram and, recently, on Threads.

In 2024, new publications will follow the final preparations for Paris 2024 and will continue to project you into the Olympic and Paralympic editions to come, while studying the characteristics of other major events.

Beyond the written publications which have made and which make the strength of “Sport & Society”over 4,900 articles to date – video content will be gradually deployed to always analyze the issues and ensure the broadest possible understanding of major sporting events.

As since the founding of the site in 2009, “Sport & Society” will remain accessible free of charge in 2024. It is an assumed and renewed choice despite the constraints and charges caused by the daily management of such a platform.
