For the German national team’s duel against Iceland, Oracle Eberhard only predicted a draw in the start of the main round against Iceland. After a moment’s hesitation, the Swabian-Hallian pig from the Cologne Zoo decided on the middle of the three feeding bowls. A draw would be a setback for the DHB selection in the fight for the hoped-for semi-final ticket. From the group of six, only the two best in the group qualify for the semi-finals.
Eberhard will also predict the other German main round games against Austria, Hungary and Croatia. The pig always has to choose between three food balls, which represent the possible game outcomes of victory, draw or defeat. Eberhard is three years old, weighs around 300 kilograms and, according to the zoo, lives with the sow Uschi.

The Austrians, who now have 3:1 points, will face the German team on Saturday. Hungary has 2:2 points after their first defeat.

From the start, it was a duel of equals in which neither team was able to gain a decisive advantage. Shortly before the end, Bilyk made the decision with his eighth goal. In addition to the backcourt player from German record champions THW Kiel, Lukas Hutecek from TBV Lemgo Lippe and long-time Bundesliga professional Robert Weber also proved to be accurate with six goals each.
