Sports fans can follow the European Handball Championships live on several channels. ARD and ZDF broadcast a whole series of the games. These are the dates of the tournament and the providers of the broadcasts.

The main round of the European Handball Championship is underway. The draw against Austria on Saturday hurt the German handball players, but there was a win against Hungary on Monday. This Wednesday the DHB selection is against Croatia.

The games in the main round will be played in Cologne (Group 1) and Hamburg (Group 2). The final round will take place in Cologne. All games of the German team are broadcast on free TV by ARD or ZDF. In addition, some other matches without German participation can also be seen in the streams of the ARD and ZDF media libraries.

The DHB selection last won the title at the European Men’s Handball Championship in 2016. Now the team around national coach Alfred Gislason wants to write a winter fairy tale in their own country. Two victories in the preliminary round had fueled the enthusiasm for handball in the country. However, the national team also revealed some weaknesses in the main round, especially in the game against Austria, in which the draw was hard fought.
