The French team will face Austria, third in the ranking, on Monday at 6 p.m. The opportunity for Guillaume Gille’s players to solidify their first place and qualify for the last four. The Blues’ objective is obviously victory, while first place in the group could still be decided on Wednesday, against Hungary.
For its part, Austria has not conceded a defeat in this Euro either, even if it has been held in check on several occasions (two victories and three draws). She was also unable to win in her last match, against Germany (22-22), which allowed Hungary to overtake her in the rankings.
