Five million for a former player: the surprising objective of Sporting de Portugal

While Oviedo behaves like one of the great entertainers of the market (it has signed two players so far -Dubasin and Borja Sánchez- and has released two others -Romario Ibarra and Álex Cardero-), signings are progressing at a slower pace in other places. In Portugal, for example, an important operation is being prepared that has as its target an ex-Oviedo member: Koba Koindredi.

The French midfielder was on loan last year from Valencia to Oviedo, without achieving the desired consistency to show his potential, which could only be perceived in isolated details. It was Bolo’s wish that later had Cervera’s little confidence. This season, the Frenchman has been loaned to Estoril, where he is putting in a great performance. So much so that Sporting de Portugal, one of the historic teams in the Portuguese championship, seems willing to pay 5 million euros for his transfer, according to various Portuguese media reports.
