Exciting Action in the 2023-2024 NBA Season: A Recap of Five Thrilling Matches

The 2023-2024 NBA season continued tonight. From 1:00 Italian onwards they were disputed five matches valid for the regular season and as always there was no lack of entertainment. Let’s find out everything that happened.

Everything was easy for Minnesota, which won at Orlando 113-92 and achieved its 26th win of the season. The 28 points from Karl-Anthony Towns, the 21 points and 12 rebounds from Rudy Gobert and the 15 from Jaden McDaniels are fundamental for the Timberwolves, while for the Magic the 21 points from Moritz Wagner, the 20 from Jalen Suggs and the 18 from Paolo Banchero.

After a 29-47 first quarter, Sacramento reacts on the Detroit pitch and, thanks above all to the 39-18 of the second period and the 33-15 of the last quarter, goes on to take the success by 131-110. Worth noting in the Kings home is the magnificent triple double of 37 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds by Domantas Sabonis, 32 points by Keegan Murray, 26 by De’Aaron Fox and 20 from the bench by Malik Monk. Bojan Bogdanovic’s 26 points and Jaden Ivey’s 22 are not enough for the Pistons (without Cade Cunningham).

Very clear success for New York, which annihilates Portland 112-84 in front of a friendly crowd and thus obtains its fifth consecutive success. On the shields at home Knicks above all OG Anunoby with his 23 points and Julius Randle with his 20 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds, but the 17 point performance of Quentin Grimes should also be highlighted. Jerami Grant’s 21 points were useless on the other side.

Ample success also for Memphis: despite the heavy absences of Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., Taylor Jenkins’ team won the first three quarters on the Dallas court and then comfortably managed the lead until the final 120-103. At the end of the match the top scorer for the Grizzlies is Desmond Bane with his 32 points, followed by Marcus Smart (out for almost the entire second half with a hand injury) with 23. For the Mavericks the best are instead Kyrie Irvign with 33 points (and 8 rebounds) and Luka Doncic with 31, but these two are not enough to avoid defeat.

Finally, in the last match of the day comes the photo finish victory of the Los Angeles Lakers, who beat Toronto by just one point (132-131) thanks to a last partial score of 44-42. Fundamental for the Californian franchise were the 41 points and 11 rebounds of a wild Anthony Davis (for him 8 points only in the last minute and one second of the game) and the 22 points and 12 assists of LeBron James. However, the four players with 21 or more points on the scoresheet were irrelevant for the Raptors (Scottie Barnes was the best with 26, followed by Pascal Siakam with 25, RJ Barrett with 23 and Immanuel Quickley with 21.
