Diego Schwartzman Confirmed as First Guest for Córdoba Open 2024

The organization of the Córdoba Open, official ATP event belonging to the ATP 250 tournaments, confirmed that Diego Schwartzman (111th in the ranking) will be the first guest and will increase the number of Argentines in the main draw of the sixth edition to seven. It will be played from February 3 to 11 at the Kempes stadium sports center.

Consolidated as one of the best exponents of Argentine tennis in the last decade, the Buenos Aires native reached the semifinals of Roland Garros four years ago and achieved triumphs against notable rivals such as Rafael Nadal, Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Casper Ruud, Marin Cilic and Kei Nishikori. .

This time it comes preceded by poor results that prevented him, for the first time after 36 tournaments, from being in the main draw of a Grand Slam.
