Smith’s condition

DeVonta Smith suffered the injury in one of the team’s last offensive series while leading the blocking screen for running back Kenneth Gainwell on a running play. After the play concluded, Smith encountered difficulty getting to his feet and limped off the field. He proceeded to the sideline tent and eventually made his way to the locker room, missing the remainder of the game.
Before his injury, DeVonta caught three passes for a gain of 30 yards. In the 2023 season, he has accumulated 81 receptions for 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns.
