Dennis Schröder Snubbed in NBA All-Star Game Voting

And while Dennis Schröder (30) received exactly 128,857 votes from NBA fans around the world, not a single professional voted for the Toronto Raptors’ development player!

There was also no voice from the journalists (with one exception only from the USA).

This puts Schröder in 74th and last place in his position in the Eastern Conference, both in terms of media representatives and other NBA players.

Maybe it’s because Schröder (13.9 points per game) only comes off the bench for the Raptors.

Based solely on fan votes, he is in 15th place.

Even that is not enough for a nomination for the game of the best in mid-February.

The votes of the fans are weighted at 50 percent, those of the players and media representatives at 25 percent each.

In the East, instead of Schröder, who is always at the center of trade rumors, Tyrese Haliburton (23/Indiana) and Damian Lillard (33/Milwaukee) were chosen as starters for the guard positions.

Schröder, who is also the main shareholder in BBL club Basketball Löwen Braunschweig, could still be appointed as a replacement player by the head coaches. In this way, seven players each will be added to the West and East teams.

Who the coaches have chosen will be announced on February 1st.
