On the way to the finals of the Under-20 World Hockey Championship, the Czech juniors will have to face Sweden. It was decided by the quarter-final match. In the last one, the home hockey players beat Switzerland in overtime.

Czech Republic vs. Sweden, USA vs. Finland. The World Championship already knows the semi-final pairs, from which the opponents will fight for the gold medals.
Wards Patrick Augusta with a goal twelve seconds before the end of the third period, they defeated the favored Canada, a year later they avenged their final defeat and then just waited for their next opponent. That will be the Swedes, who fought hard against Switzerland. It will be played on Thursday from 3 p.m.

Although the Swedes already led by two goals, the opponent equalized and the match reached extra time. In his sixth minute, Sandlin-Pellikka tipped the scales in favor of Sweden.
An unequivocal victory for the USA
The Americans reached the semi-finals over the Latvians, who did not give them much of a chance in the clearest quarter-final and won 7:2. The Finns had to fight for advancement until extra time, in which they dealt a decisive blow to the Slovaks and won 4:3.

The Czech Republic’s match against Sweden will be a repeat of last year’s semi-final. In a dramatic duel, the Czech national team won extra time in the last minute thanks to Jiříček’s goal, in which Jiří Kulich then decided to advance.
