At that time, Cristiano Ronaldo praised Erling Haaland, but in an unusual way.

Haaland was named the best male player.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo took home the Maradona Award trophy thanks to scoring 54 goals during 2023.
In his speech, CR7 offered unusual praise for Manchester City’s goal predator, Erling Haaland.
“I am the best goalscorer this season,” said Ronaldo.
