Colombian football is weeks away from starting its official competitions in all professional tournaments and many teams are beginning to restructure their projects for 2024, Cortuluá being one of them.

The Tuluá team decided in the last Dimayor assembly to change its name and go to another venue to play the BetPlay 2024 Tournament and thus fight for promotion this season.

After its founding in 1967, Cortuluá will have a new chapter in its history in Colombian football and through its social networks it has been releasing details of what will be its new institutional replacement.

The Francisco Rivera Escobar stadium in Palmira was announced by Cortuluá and will be the stage where they will officiate as the home team. In addition, they have announced that on Wednesday, January 10, they will give more details of what its name will be.

Apparently, Cortuluá will be renamed Internacional FC de Palmira, but we will have to wait for official announcements about its new identity in Colombian football.
