Cape Verde – Mauritania: at what time and on which channel to follow the round of 16 of CAN 2024?

The round of 16 continues at the African Cup of Nations. This Monday, it’s time for the third day, with first of all a clash between Cape Verde and Mauritania, scheduled for around 6 p.m. Surprising winners of their group, thanks to victories against Ghana and Mozambique, and a draw against Egypt, the Cape Verdeans are aiming for a second quarter-final in their history, after having failed at this stage of the competition in South Africa in 2013.

The Mauritanians finished in third place in group D, ahead of Angola and Burkina Faso. It was still them who eliminated Algeria by dominating them on the third day (1-0). Third in the ranking of the best thirds, Mauritania therefore earned its place in the round of 16, a first in its history. This is also only the third participation of the “Mourabitounes” in the African Cup of Nations.

The Cape Verde – Mauritania kick-off will be given this Monday, at 6 p.m. on BeIN Sports 1 and live with commentary on leparisien.fr.
