Arsenal reportedly protested to the Premier League refereeing body PGMOL regarding the referee’s lack of protection for Bukayo Saka. Mikel Arteta denied this.

“We had normal conversations with PGMOL, but nothing specific about that. The referees know the tactics of our opponents and know that some players are more targeted, whether it’s because of the way they play, they invite more tackles,” Arteta was quoted as saying. BBC.
