Score below its standards but still decent placement close to the top 20 for Elisa Roner21st with 686 points (promoted directly to the second round of the individual competition), while her compatriots remained further behind Marcella Tonioli44th with 674 points (first round against Slovakia Kocutova), e Andrea Nicole Moccia65th with 664 points (matched with the Estonian Tetsmann).

Uphill road for the Bel Paese towards the medal area in try mixed pairscon Roner and Pagnoni who qualified for the main draw with the 14th score (1380) and will have to defeat France and then possibly South Korea to reach the quarter-finals.
