MORELIA, Mich., December 25, 2023.- The debut in the top circuit is the dream and objective of all the young soccer players who are in the Basic Forces of the different teams that make up the BBVA MX LIGA.

Although there are players who have crystallized their dream of stepping on a field in the first division at an advanced age, there are those who have done so when they were very young, as was the case of Jesús Velasco, a member of Club Necaxa who made his presentation in the maximum category during the Clausura 2023 contest at 17 years and three months. In total, 87 debuts were recorded in 2023.

According to a press release, Velasco’s debut in the top circuit took place on Matchday 15, in which the Hydroray team received the Club Puebla fans on the Victoria Stadium field, which ended in a one-goal tie. . The young footballer came on as a substitute in the final minutes of the second half, under the command of Argentine Andrés Lillini, having a good performance on the field of play, in what until now has been his only participation with the first team of Aguascalientes.

Born on March 10, 2023, Velasco has carried out his entire Basic Forces process with the necaxista squad; starting with the Sub-13, passing through the Sub-16 and the Sub-18, a category with which he currently maintains a record in Mexican soccer, in addition to brief interventions in the Hydroray team of the Third Division. In the minor sector, Velasco accumulates a total of 60 games for a total of 3,883 minutes.
