Absurd! In the duel with Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (29), Green goes completely crazy. After a short scuffle, the 33-year-old turns around and punches his opponent in the face.

Green’s blow is not an isolated incident. Just in November, Green was suspended for five games for choking Rudy Gobert (31) on the field. Green had to pay a fine of $769,704 (around €714,000) for his latest outburst.

Nurkic: “The brother needs help”

“What’s wrong with him? I don’t know it. I have the feeling that the brother needs help,” said Jusuf Nurkic after the scandal game on Wednesday morning. After being hit by Green, the Suns professional couldn’t resist a little swipe:

“I’m just glad he didn’t want to put me in a chokehold. This has nothing to do with basketball!”

Draymond Green apologized after the game for the clear violence against Nurkic. “As you know, I’m not one to apologize for things I intended to do. But I apologize to Yusuf because I didn’t want to meet him,” explains Green.

“He pulled my hip and I tried to swing around to clear the foul. I do this with my arms, I don’t fall down. I’m not a ‘flopper’.”

Did he really accidentally hit his opponent in the face with his hand?

After the game, Green admitted: “I’ve said several times that a lot of things don’t look good in replay. But I know my intentions. I also don’t think I can hit with enough precision to intentionally hit someone in the face after a 360-degree turn.”
