If the start of the season seemed like a demonstration of strength by Ricardo Vasconcelos’ team, matchday 13 of Constitution Day has generated doubts in the leader and confidence in the pursuers. First, in the morning, the Vantage Towers Alcobendas achieved what no one had been able to do in the first 12 days. With a brilliant Brianna Herlihy (25 points and 15 rebounds) and great defense, she nullified Zamora’s strengths.
And that defeat spurred the pursuers. Finally, Azul Marino Viajes Mallorca equals its balance of wins and losses (6-6) by beating Lima-Horta Barcelona with another good game from Nneka Ezeigbo, and Melilla Ciudad del Deporte takes a breather in the lower part of the table with the victory against Talenom Boet Mataró thanks to the defense of the last two quarters.
