The Valonsadero Badminton Club has closed the 2023 season as the best national club in the under-15 category.
This is confirmed by the latest update of the National Club Ranking, in which Valonsadero Bádminton appears as the national leader in the under-15 category at the end of this season.
It is achievement has a special value for his coach, Carlos Palero, since this ranking takes into account the performance of the volantistas in the five events that make up badminton (men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles), so it better reflects the level of the group.
In this way, the most successful group of volantistas in lower categories of the sorian badminton adds a new success to his record, putting the cherry on top of a new season to frame, in which, to add to this latest achievement, among the sub-15s Hugo Sanz, Ian Antón, Irene Gárate, Miguel Pérez, África Gazo and Noel Romera have achieved: three medals in International Championships, three medals in the Spanish Championship, twenty medals in National Masters, five gold medals in the five events in the Regional Championship and more than one hundred podium positions in tournaments that count towards the national ranking, in addition to be protagonists in achieving the first Spanish Championship of Children’s Regional Teams for Castilla y León.
It is also worth highlighting at an individual level the calls for the Spanish U15 National Team of Ian Antón and Hugo Sanzthe latter national leader of his category in men’s singles during the 52 weeks of the season.
Results that invite us to continue working in the same line that the Valonsadero Badminton Club has been doing, whose next challenge is focused on facing starting in January, already in the 2024 season, the jump to European Circuit, For which the Soria club is already working on searching for collaborators to join one of the most ambitious projects in Soria sports.
