The 2023 Christmas Tour of the Free Voices Gospel Choir “A gift of peace” returns to Turin in the most magical season of the year for gospel music. Today 15 December, at the parish of S. Giovanni Maria Vianney in Turin, with a concert organized in collaboration with the Grizzlies baseball team of Turin whose proceeds will go to the CasaBase baseball 5 project, which combines sport and disability. The 2023 Christmas Tour of the Free Voices Gospel Choir is dedicated to peace and the need to donate and give oneself to just causes. A busy calendar of concerts is scheduled – in collaboration with the Associazione Cori Piemontesi and Feder Gospel Choir – which this year too has led the choir to cross the borders of various regions of Italy, from Turin, Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta to Tuscany and to Lazio, passing through Turin, Beinasco, Moncalieri a Canale, Marene, Mondovì, Savigliano, Crescentino, Valtournanche, Varazze, Viterbo and Pontremoli. In the 26 years of activity of the Voci Libere Association, a non-profit created with the aim of disseminating Afro-American culture and the values of freedom and solidarity typical of Gospel music, 730 concerts have been held, with 80 choristers, 15 soloists, 4 musicians , a choreographic group of 6 dancers led by director and founder Laura Robuschi.
