Serena Williams revealed she has been rubbing her own breast milk on her face in a bid to soothe sunburn. The best part? The 42-year-old tennis champion insisted to her social media followers that the remedy really worked.
On TikTok, Serena, who welcomed her second daughter, Adira River, into the world in August, explained: “So I got a complete burn under my eye.”
Addressing her followers while standing in the bathroom wearing a sports bra, the doting mom continued: “Don’t ask. She was in the sun…long story.
‘Anyway, I’m trying some breast milk. It works for my son: they say to put breast milk in everything and I have a lot left over, so I’ll try it for about a week under the eye and see how it goes.”
“I mean, it feels better already, because it hurts!” Serna added, before noting: “Okay, I’ll tell you how it goes.”
The superstar athlete captioned her post: ‘Okay so this is totally weird? I have to say that after a week of using MY breast milk under my eye, it worked! I’m dying to hear your opinion.
Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian confirmed the arrival of their second child over the summer.
Shortly after the announcement, Serena revealed that she and Alexis’ first daughter, Olympia, 5, had taken to the sorority like a pro.
The star uploaded an Instagram photo of Olympia smiling widely as she hugged her sister, who was wrapped in a colorful blanket with a matching hat.
