Saina Nehwal Motivates Students at Tallentex Prize Distribution Ceremony in Kota

KOTA: Believe in yourself and always give 100 percent, said badminton star Saina Nehwal while motivating students during a programme, organised by Allen Career Institute Private Limited, here on Saturday.
The prize distribution ceremony and success power session of Tallentex, one of the country’s biggest talent promotion examinations, was held in Samras Auditorium of Allen Samunnat Campus, Jawahar Nagar, Kota.
Meritorious students and their parents from all over the country reached Kota to participate in the event. Students of every class who topped the exam were rewarded with cash prizes, gold and silver medals and certificates.
On this occasion, the 33-year-old Saina gave the mantra of success and said that there is struggle in every field.
“I am a player and players struggle all the time whether they win or lose. Be it sports or studies, I have always tried to give my 100 percent. I try to enjoy every moment. If we work hard with a happy heart, we will be able to get very close to success. Always have faith in yourself. We can do anything, everything is possible. I like to win, and I work hard for it, because we will win only if we want to win,” said Saina, who is married to fellow badminton star Parupalli Kashyap.
The bronze medallist of the 2012 London Olympics, Saina acknowledged the support of parents in the player’s journey.
“The support of parents and teachers or coaches is very important. My parents inspired me to play badminton. I spent a lot of time in stadiums and enjoyed sports as a child. You also have good coaches who teach you, so follow them and keep moving forward.”
Allen’s directors Govind Maheshwari, Rajesh Maheshwari, Naveen Maheshwari and Brajesh Maheshwari were present at the function. Divisional commissioner Pratibha Singh was the chief guest. Padma Shri Saina was the special guest.
Students looked excited to find Saina among them in the event. Students gave attractive presentations. The directors congratulated the students and presented them with medals and honoured them on the stage along with their parents.
It has been 10 years since the Tallentex exam was started and till now more than 14.25 lakh students have appeared in this exam. This year this examination was conducted in both online and offline mode. Many talented students, who have joined ALLEN through Tallentex, had achieved rank in the past in All India Top-100 with best performance in IIT, NEET and Olympiads.
The first phase examination was held on October 29 and the second phase examination was held on November 5. A total of 3.16 lakh students appeared in the examination in both phases.
Hyderabad-based Saina was really impressed and said there is lots of energy in Kota and it is even better than what she heard.
After the Tallentex program, Saina reached Allen Satyarth Jawahar Nagar and Allen Samarth Indravihar and motivated thousands of students.
Addressing the students here, the ace shuttler said that success is not achieved in a day, it is the result of continuous efforts.
“We should not get discouraged by small failures; we must keep trying. I also faced a lot of failures in the beginning. I lost many times, but I worked hard. Saina said that she had heard a lot about Kota, today she is seeing it, it feels very good. There is a lot of energy in Kota. Everywhere here are young children like you who are full of energy, who can do everything. Seeing you, I feel excited. After coming here, I am feeling much better than I had heard about Kota.
The programme started with the Success Power Session, which was addressed by Pankaj Birla, Senior Vice President, ALLEN, and Tushar Parekh, Vice President, ALLEN. In this session, students were given success tips. Along with this, they were also informed about the activities organized for the students at Allen. Besides explaining the importance of Tallentex, students were also explained about the possibilities in different areas in the future. Also, students were informed about areas of science and about institutions which can offer better science studies. Information was given about medical and engineering education as well as career possibilities in other fields.
In Offline Tallentex-2024, Dhritiman in class 5, Dakshal Sharma in class 6, Devansh Jain in class 7, Arya Maji in class 8, Praneet Mathur in class 9 and Daksh Parmar in class 10 secured rank-1. In online Tallentex, Amrit Das in class 5, Yashraj Deshmukh in class 6, Mishika Aggarwal in class 7, Indrashish Dutta in class 8, Samarth Chaudhary in class 9 and Masroor Ahmed Khan in class 10 secured rank 1. Along with cash prizes, gold medals and certificates were also given to the students.
