Rohrweck in Val Thorens in third place

Johnny Rohrweck missed out on a possible victory at the Ski Crosser World Cup in Val Thorens on Friday. While he was in the lead, he was “shot down” by the Frenchman Youri Dupellis Kergomard and had to settle for third place. Canadian Jared Schmidt took victory for the first time in his career ahead of David Mobaerg (SWE). Johannes Aujesky took third place in the small final and thus seventh place.

A long series came to an end for women. The Swede Sandra Näslund, the dominator of the past few years and winner at the opener on Thursday, had to be content with fourth place this time. Here too there was a premiere winner in the form of the German Daniela Maier. Christina Födermayr took eleventh place, vice world champion Katrin Ofner took 17th place
