The president of Latvian-Estonian basketball league club “Rīgas Zeļļi” Edgars Buļs revealed the organization’s income from the beginning of the season until now in the creation “Údenszeļļi”.
It should be reminded that “Rīgas Zeļļi” is a newly formed team that makes its debut in the combined league this season. Currently, the Riga club is in sixth place in the tournament table with 10 wins and five losses.
Buls revealed that currently “Rīgas Zeļliam” has 126 members, which bring 25 thousand euros to the club’s budget, but as it was admitted in the program, the number of members has just reached 127. Meanwhile, the total revenue from home game tickets, including club members’ cards, is 58 thousand euros. The Riga unit is also supported by 19 sponsors, who give the organization from three to 100 thousand euros. Also, “Rīgas Zeļliam” has six technical sponsors, as well as club attributes worth eight thousand euros were sold, where all the proceeds go to the technical sponsor “Sportland”.
