Riccione and Brisighella Athletes Shine at Italian Judo Kata Championship 2023

Italian Judo Kata Championship. On Saturday 25 November in Siziano (Pv) the athlete from Riccione Filippo Marzaloni of the Asd Centro Kiai Riccione and the athlete Nicola Bellosi of the Asd Judo Brisighella won the Bronze medal at the National Under 18 Final 2023 Kata, Nage specialty No Kata Under18; the important positioning allowed them to also obtain the Silver medal in the 2023 Italian Grand Prix of the same specialty, at the end of a long tournament which saw the two athletes participate in all the races on the Italian circuit.

The remarkable result was certainly achieved, in addition to the constant commitment of the two athletes who live over 100 km away, above all thanks to the technicians of the Asd Kiai Riccione center (Sauro Tontini, Maurizio Benelli, Vincenzo Giuliani and Antonella Alessandrino) and the ‘Asd Judo Brisighella (Mauro Collini, Alex Cavina); nevertheless, the two athletes from Romagna had the opportunity to train with the regional and national team Fijlkam, coordinated by Maestro Cesare Amorosi. For the Asd Centro Kiai Riccione this is an opportunity that demonstrates the desire to provide its athletes with a more complete judo training, combining kata (form) with shiai (fighting) and providing unique opportunities to come into contact with the excellence of the discipline, represented by a team of great experience and competence.
