Renars Stančiks pulls out the victory of “Irlava” over “Bauska”
The victory of the “Irlava” team over “Bauska”, the runner-up of the ELVI floorball league, was unexpectedly difficult tonight. Irlavnieki were superior with 7:6, the decisive goal was scored by Renars Stančiks in the last minute of regular time.
The “Irlava” team visited “Bauskas” last night of the tournament. During the first period, Bauškėnai took the lead with 2:1, for which Deniss Afanasjevs and Pēteris Zeltiņš scored a goal each. The guests could only respond with a goal scored by Edgars Taubes. During the second third, the Irlava team took the lead with 5:4. At the start of the last minute of regular time, the score was tied – 6:6. 24 seconds before the end of regular time, Renars Stančiks received a pass from his brother Marek Stančiks, whose accurate shot brought victory to “Irlava” -7:6.
