Peru on the podium

This great sports infrastructure has allowed, in turn, Peru to close the year with historic figures with 65 medals in the last Pan American and Parapan American Games, compared to its participation in Toronto 2015, in which it won 13 medals with 174. representatives (including parasports).

Likewise, in 2023, our country consolidated itself as a power in boccia, with the consecration of Niurka Callupe as world champion; Pilar Jáuregui, as the best parabadminton player on the planet and Daniela Campos with the first gold medal for the country in paraarchery.

They are part of the list of 3,420 athletes, federated and accredited, who train at the Legado headquarters, exhaustively to improve their own brands and represent our country in the most important competitions, enhancing their skills and increasing their competitiveness.

All of this would not be possible without the support and joint cooperation of the 34 sports Federations with which Legado works hand in hand in a coordinated and efficient manner.

Without a doubt, the Special Legacy Project will continue to work in a responsible, agile and efficient manner, ensuring the integrity, tangibility and good use of the venues for the benefit of Peruvian sports to continue reaping laurels for our country.
