Los Angeles Rams (8-7) – New Orleans Saints (7-8) 30:22 BOXSCORE

Fifth win in the last six games for the Rams, who are now moving into a playoff spot. Once again it became clear: The offense around QB Matt Stafford (328 yards, 2 TDs) is currently booming! Running back Kyren Williams cracked 100 yards again (104 YDS, TD), rookie receiver Puka Nacua excelled (164 yards, TD) and Demarcus Robinson also caught all six balls in his direction (82 yards, TD). The Rams were closed Everything started out under control, but the Saints got back into the game with a long TD to Rashid Shaheed in the second quarter. Derek Carr (319 yards, 3 TDs, INT) even had the chance to take the lead, but the Saints failed at the opposing 42-yard line on fourth down. The Rams then needed just 35 seconds for 58 yards and a TD to make it 17:7. After the break, the home team extended their lead to 30:7, even if the Saints briefly made things exciting with two late touchdowns. This was a setback for New Orleans, which had not allowed a touchdown in the two games against the Panthers and Giants Playoff race. Next week we go to the Buccaneers, then come the Falcons. The Rams have to go to the Giants on New Year’s Eve and then hope that it’s nothing for the 49ers in Week 18.
