Ramírez rotates against Unionistas in a summons without Yáñez, Róber Pier, Cote and Roque Mesa

The Copa del Rey is a time for the less common players to play. A cliché that is true, especially in the first qualifying rounds. With almost four months of competitions under his belt, Miguel Ángel Ramírez seeks to dose his efforts and give entry to those who have had fewer opportunities. For this Wednesday’s visit to Unionistas de Salamanca (4:00 p.m.) at the Reina Sofía, four players who started in Cartagena on the last day of the League are dropped from the squad: Rubén Yáñez, Róber Pier, Cote and Roque Mesa. Neither Campuzano nor Queipo are on the first team list, although in this case due to physical problems.

Ramírez will rotate for this duel in Salamanca, although some of the players who played against Cartagena could repeat the start, such as Djuka or Insua, although in this case it is because he is suspended in the League and will not be able to play on Saturday against Levante.

A possible eleven for Sporting would be the one made up of Christian Joel; Pascanu, Insua, Diego Sánchez, Pablo García; Hassan, Nacho Martín, Varane, Villalba; Jordan and Djuka. The squad list is completed by the players with a reserve team record Pablo Díez –goalkeeper–, Enol Coto, Álex Lozano and Esteban Lozano; and the first team players Guille Rosas, Izquierdoz, Christian Rivera, Nacho Méndez, Gaspar, Otero and Jeraldino.

In Unionistas, for its part, coach Dani Ponz’s only absence for the match is midfielder Javi Villar.
