2. Our school’s policy based on the investigation results (efforts to prevent recurrence)
We take the contents of this investigation report seriously, and based on the recommendations we received to prevent recurrence, our school will promptly take the following measures. We will do our best to create a safer and more secure school so that an accident like this one will never occur again.
1) Prohibition of the use of old-fashioned heavy iron screen cages by the women’s hardball baseball club (already prohibited from use immediately after the accident)
2) Thorough safety guidance and education for students
3) Clarifying the division of roles and scope of responsibilities of advisors and ensuring effectiveness
4) Strengthening the safety management system for club activities
5) Stability of advisor position
6) Promote inspection and maintenance of equipment including cages
