SAMBA, Dec 21: In order to promote sports activities, enhance physical fitness as well as to inculcate a sense of team spirit and sportsmanship among the police personnel, Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized a badminton match between Administration Staff and Indoor Staff.
Displaying control in the match, the Indoor team pair Inspector Anil Kumar and Head Constable Vikas Bhandari won match by 21-19, 21-18 over the Administration team of Inspector Rakesh Kumar and ASI Surjeet Singh.
Shiv Kumar, Principal, PTTI Vijaypur emphasized upon everyone to exercise regularly to keep fit and also advocated to play badminton once a week to enjoy the pleasure of this sport. Among others, Zia-Ul-Haq, DySP (Outdoor), Khushwant Singh DySP (Admn.), Inspector Ram Lal Bhagat (CLI), Vivek Kalsotra, Himanshu Dutta (CTI), Mulkh Raj, Ashish Dharmat, Tariq Mehmood and others were present on the occasion.
