Three of the four perpetrators were arrested, including two minors. An electric pulse gun (PIE) was used during the arrest of one of the perpetrators. The fourth individual managed to escape. A police officer was injured in the intervention.

Alexandre Letellier and his family were woken up around 2 a.m. by his alarm system, while four people broke into his garden and then his home. The owners of the home then tried to call the police, but the criminals asked them to cut off communication by gathering them in a room in the house.
