PSG: Arctos Partners becomes minority shareholder of the Parisian club

PSG announced a new marriage. Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) and Arctos Partners (Arctos) have entered into “a strategic partnership and investment agreement which will see Arctos acquire a minority stake in the capital of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the most successful club in France and one of the largest multi-sport brands in the world,” writes the capital club in a press release published this Thursday.

According to the Ile-de-France club, “Arctos’ investment will be used to develop PSG’s operations and support the club’s strategic real estate initiatives, particularly those related to its stadium and future phases of development of the PSG training center in Poissy. , in the suburbs of Paris. »

Important clarification, the new minority partner is supposed to remain on the sidelines in terms of sporting affairs: “As an owner without control, Arctos will not influence sporting matters on the ground, it is specified. QSI will continue to control all decisions made at PSG. »
