Productive but frustrated, Victor Wembanyama learns to lose with Spurs

There was a before and after November 8 for Victor Wembanyama. That evening, the number 1 of the last NBA draft came out of a very complicated performance against the Knicks (14 points on 4/14 shooting), in a Madison Square Garden which had allowed itself to sing “Overrated” ( “Overrated”) for the French player. Cornered by questions from a crowd of inquisitive media after the match, the rookie had difficulty hiding his frustration, defeated for the third time in a row with the Spurs (126-105). “The difference between the veterans of our team and the younger ones is that they are able to move on to the next match more easily,” he confided, his face closed.
