Man United makes the connection

Manchester United also took advantage of the local rivals’ renewed mistake. Thanks to a brace from Scott McTominay (19th/69th), the “Red Devils” defeated Chelsea FC 2-1 (1-1) and thus reduced the gap to the “Citizens” to three points.

Brighton Hove & Albion maintained their place in the extended top group with a 2-1 (1-1) win against Brentford FC and are eighth. The German national player Pascal Groß initiated the turnaround with his equalizer (31st) just four minutes after Bryan Mbeumo (27th) went behind. Jack Hinshelwood scored the winning goal (52nd).
