Pangos is now a ‘taronja’ player

Yesterday Valencia Basket closed the signing of the Canadian point guard with a Slovenian passport Kevin Pangos, who will strengthen the team until the end of the season with the option to extend his relationship with the Fonteta club for one more season, according to the entity.

Pangos arrives from Armani Milan, a club for which he signed in the summer of 2022 but where, after suffering a major injury at the beginning of last season, he has hardly had any opportunities. After weeks of negotiation, the player closed an agreement to separate from the Italian entity which has given way to his arrival at Valencia, with which he has already passed the medical examination.

Pangos will turn 31 this January, he is 188 centimeters tall and trained at the American University of Gonzaga, where he shone as a great shooter. After not being chosen in the draft, he ended up in Gran Canaria in 2015, from which he moved to Zalgiris. After two brilliant seasons at the Lithuanian club, he signed for Barcelona, ​​from which he moved to Zenit St. Petersburg, where another great campaign opened the doors to the NBA.

A discreet time at the Cavaliers gave way to a new stage in Europe in which he formally went to CSKA Moscow, although he did not join due to the invasion of Ukraine and Milan and will now continue at Valencia.
