Outrage at European Championship Draw During Sex Sound Prank

No, it was not your television set. During the European Championship draw in Hamburg, sex sounds could be heard for several minutes. It caused a lot of outrage in the room and of course also a commotion on social media. In the meantime, a notorious English prankster already claimed credit for the stunt. UEFA will launch an investigation.

“There’s some noise here.”

Master of ceremonies Giorgio Marchetti also looked surprised when loud sex noises could be heard for several minutes during the European Championship draw. In the hall, but also in all living rooms.

The Spanish ex-star David Silva, among others, invited to draw balls, had difficulty suppressing a smile.

Only when group A was completely complete did the sounds stop (reportedly a well-known meme). No cause for the ‘problems’ was found.

“Did someone hack the sound system?”, people on social media wondered. Or did a joker in the audience play the sound?

English ‘prankster’ was behind stunt

Meanwhile, infamous prankster Daniel Jarvis already claimed the joke via X.

He had hidden a telephone in the room with the much-discussed sex sounds as a ringtone. From a hotel room in Hamburg, Jarvis then called the number during the draw.

“Aren’t we one of the best jokers in the world?” he burst out when the sounds were discussed during the TV broadcast.

On Sunday, UEFA announced that it will investigate the matter.

The Englishman previously pulled off the same stunt during a cup match between Wolves and Liverpool, which was broadcast live on the BBC.

Even then, sex sounds could be heard for several minutes, much to the surprise of presenter Gary Lineker: “I don’t know who is making this noise,” it sounded a bit uncomfortable.

Both punches met with little support from the general public.

Jarvis is also not a welcome guest in other sports. For example, he has walked onto the field several times in the past during cricket matches, most recently during an India World Cup match.

Even after the Rugby World Cup final, the Englishman was able to bypass security and mingle with the celebrating South African players.
