The Austrian ski racers Vincent Wieser and Manuel Traninger celebrated a double victory at the European Cup downhill in Santa Caterina. Wieser achieved his first EC success on Thursday, 0.49 seconds ahead of Traninger. The Swiss Livio Hiltbrand came third, 0.57 seconds back.
