The point guard is better known for his time with the Miami Heat from 2015 to 2021, which included his only selection to the All-Star Game in the 2017-18 season.
Dragic, 37, was the NBA’s Most Improved Player and made the All-NBA Third Team with the Phoenix Suns for the 2013-14 campaign.
He played in 946 games (530 as a starter) from 2008 to 2023 and averaged 13.3 points, 4.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds con los Suns, Houston Rockets, Heat, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls y Milwaukee Bucks.
He never won an NBA championship, but reached the 2020 Finals during the bubble season in Orlando. His Heat lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in six games.
Dragic plans to play a farewell match in his native Slovenia in Augustaccording to reports from that country.
His international achievements include leading Slovenia to the 2017 FIBA EuroBasket championshipwhere he earned MVP honors.
