Montreal Canadiens Face Injury Concerns Ahead of Game Against New York Islanders

The Canadiens players were back on the ice this afternoon, the day after their 4-3 defeat against the Pittsburgh Penguins yesterday.

We’re getting ready for the next game, when the New York Islanders will be the visitors at the Bell Center on Saturday.

However, the team announced that no less than five players had to miss training to take advantage of a day of treatment.

Thus, forwards Christian Dvorak, Jake Evans and Brendan Gallagher, defender Mike Matheson and goalie Cayden Primeau had to treat their injuries.

“Christian Dvorak, Jake Evans, Brendan Gallagher, Mike Matheson and Cayden Primeau will not participate in today’s practice (treatment day).”

Let’s hope none of them are seriously injured as the infirmary is already overflowing.

More details will follow.
