Mont-de-Marsan falls to Brive, Provence Rugby benefits

Mont-de-Marsan, beaten 23-16 in Brive, gave up second place to Provence Rugby which won comfortably at home against Rouen (45-24), Friday during the 12th day of Pro D2. Vannes, beaten in Grenoble (15-12) on Thursday, remains comfortable leader and is ahead of Provence Rugby by eight points and Mont-de-Marsan by 12 tied with Béziers. At home, Provence Rugby won with six tries against Rouen but the bottom team defended well with three converted tries and a penalty.

On the road, Nevers suffered the law of the poorly classified Dax, winner (24-17) leaves 4th place to Béziers who won at home against Montauban (43-13), offensive bonus as a bonus.
